Good evening Mr Hinkley,
I hope you are well, I have a genuine concern about send my child to school at this stage, which you may be able to clarify, if not please can you forward this question to the relevant department. The issue I have is that I appreciate the government state that children are at lesser risk then adults however has any anybody assessed the risk of children becoming carriers of the virus which they will bring back home where you have parents, grandparents and vulnerable persons living at the address. The risk to the adults including the teachers will be more heightened and you may also not be aware France had reopened there schools which has resulted in 70 new cases of coronavirus directly linked to the schools. At this stage I am truly concerned about the potential of a negative aftermath of sending children to school with families living with the consequences.
Good evening
I have passed this message on to Mr Hinkley and he or a member of the leadership team will be in touch. I hope you are keeping safe.
