Expecto patronum! Year 6 have dived and delved into the magical world of Harry Potter this week and, yet again, produced work that they should be very proud of.
We loved the detail that some of you had gone into when designing your own wand. Saran – great thinking as to what the different parts of the wand would be made out of!
The children linked their learning on light with rainbows – lumos! We were sent in some great write-ups, reflecting on what they had seen and learnt. Maybe you could also try the investigation at home too.
Finally, we have some brilliant budding journalists in Year 6 – the children were asked to think of a significant event from their favourite Harry Potter book to write about.
This week, we are trying to recreate our Year 6 residential at home – let’s see how long the weather holds off! We can’t wait to see how you have got on with the challenges that we have set you.
