Advice from a Dad who is playing teacher

One of our school Dads shares his wisdom for getting a good routine throughout the day.

“Role play has really helped us maintain a routine at home. We start the school day at 9:30, from then on I’m Mr Atwal (school teacher). The girls have their morning break at 10:30 for 30 minutes and play in the playground (the garden). We even have a pretend bell. They then do school work until 12:00. Dinner time is 12:00 – 13:00 and school finishes at 15:00. Mr Atwal then transforms back to daddy.

They seem to listen to Mr Atwal far more than Daddy 🤣

This is me picking them up from school, however today they have after school club so we are driving there. 🤣”

I love the fact that they listen to teacher more than Daddy, I am sure we can all relate to that.
