Reading is something we are passionate about at Woodthorne. So much so, we have created a reading corner in every classroom. It made our day today, to get an email where one of our children has recreated their own reading den at home. What a lovely idea.

I am told by the children at school today, that it is the Queen’s birthday. In tribute they have made some pictures of her. I am sure they rival any professional portraits that she has in her home. What do you think? Happy birthday to HRH Queen...

Some Woodthorne children have come up with a wonderful idea of how to remember what day it is. Each day is a mini craft project in itself. What a lovely way to keep the children (and us parents) on track. I think Friday is my favourite.
